About Ace Morgan Fitness

Ace Morgan Fitness is about strength and hope—and after 14 years of helping people lose hundreds of pounds, move better and feel great, we’re also about experience.

Ace Morgan Fitness is about building self esteem and confidence: some of the best rewards of getting stronger, increasing flexibility and strengthening your posture.

Ace Morgan Fitness is and has always been about “come as you are.” We individualize every fitness plan to fit your needs. We recognize that each of us comes with individual capabilities, injuries and experiences. When you walk through that door and make the decision to bring fitness into your life, then you are ready for focused guidance and accountability no matter where you are in your journey—you have arrived, and you are ready to make a change.

We start with the basics:
• how is your balance?
• what muscles are over-worked?
• what muscles are under-worked?
• how is your mobility?
• how is your nutrition?

We will incorporate “back to basics” in every workout.

When your mobility and flexibility improve so do your lifts in the gym. Incorporating resistance training into your life helps with bone density—and it will improve your every day moving in the world as well, lifting grocery bags, picking up your kids, walking, getting up and down from the floor and even in and out of a chair.

I can help you meet your goals. We will make that happen with my guidance and the homework I give you. I always say “if you’re looking to get a third arm I can’t help you; if you’re looking to gain some muscle, increase flexibility and mobility, lose weight, and feel better—ALL of that I can help you with.”

My Story

Ace Morgan Fitness began in 2005 when I was about to become a new parent. I was stopping my first career as a photographer. I wanted to continue to spend my life building community, helping people move better and feel great.

I have been in the gym since 1983, age 13. My uncle was a trainer and took me under his wing. The gym has always been my comfort zone, my church. I always felt better after I worked out I wanted to share this with others, remind people that we are supposed to move better and feel great! — it was and still is my mental health. I thought what a great way to make an honest buck, helping people live longer lives.

I also wanted to create a life for myself—a healthy future as a new parent. I was thinking about being a role model for my daughter, thinking about the future like never before, and creating a place for others to have a healthier future as well.

I’ve aimed to create a place that’s not full of ego and attitude. Working with the body can bring vulnerability, so it’s important to me to create a safe place. This is how a person begins to get stronger on every level.

My daughter’s a teenager now and I’ve been at this work since she was born. I thrive on building self esteem and confidence for all of us through increased strength, flexibility and mobility. Work with me and we’ll take this journey together. Explore the fitness option buttons above, or click ‘work with me’ below to email about your fitness goals.

I add to my learning every single day, and my work with hundreds of clients has given me a wealth of knowledge about what does and doesn’t work when you’re building new habits for fitness.

I also specialize in working with the particular goals and concerns of the non-binary LGBTQ community around fitness and having a healthy relationship to your body. I am here for you—let’s do this!
